COVID-19 Updates

Protecting Our Members

Our Lobbies Are Open

Heartland Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that we have reopened the doors to our branch lobbies and resumed regular lobby hours. Note: some Shared Branches may not be serving other credit union members at this time.

The health and safety of members and employees will remain a priority as we reopen.  We will be following the Five Mandatory Protocols for All Ohio Businesses outlined by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine in the Responsible Restart Ohio Plan.

We strongly recommend you schedule an appointment for the most efficient experience if you plan to visit one of our branches.  Members who have scheduled an appointment will be given priority. Members without appointments may be required to wait outside and experience increased wait times as a result of these new operating requirements. It is quick and easy to schedule an appointment. Simply call us at 937-294-1991 or click the link below.

We will continue to encourage members to use Heartland’s It’sMe247 Online Banking and Mobile Banking App, Mobile Check Deposit, Drive-Thru Windows, ATMs, and Night Drops for transaction-based activities

Here is what you can expect when visiting one of our branches as we adapt to a socially distanced world:

  • Employees will be wearing masks or face shields and we highly encourage our members to do the same. For security, we may ask that you briefly lower your mask so we may verify your identity.
  • Stickers have been placed on the floor to ensure proper social distancing. If all stickers are occupied by other members, please wait outside. We are limiting our branches to 5 members at a time.
  • Safety shields have been installed at our teller stations.
  • All items at the teller stations will be sanitized after each member.
  • We will sanitize high contact items such as door handles, counters, etc. throughout the day.
  • Employees will always maintain good hygiene – hand washing, sanitizing and social distancing. Employees’ temperature will be checked at the beginning of the workday. If an employee’s temperature exceeds 100.4 degrees, they will be sent home.

It is very important that you take care of yourselves andwe look forward to seeing you soon.  However, if you are experiencing symptoms or have been around someone else that has been, please use our It’sMe247 Online Banking or It’sMe247 Mobile App rather than visit us in-person.

Thank you for your continued membership and support of Heartland Federal Credit Union!

COVID-19 Resources

Minimize the Spread of COVID-19

The World Health Organization (WHO) has shared some basic prevention tips and we want to pass these on to our members to help combat COVID-19 and other viruses:

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (sing the “Happy Birthday” song).
    • Hand sanitizers/wipes are also a good option when soap and water are not readily available. If you use hand sanitizer, please wash your hands with soap and water as soon you can.
  • Maintain social distancing.
  • Avoid touching your face.
  • Cover your coughs or sneezes with your arm.
  • Stay home if you are sick.
  • Self-quarantine if you have traveled to affected areas or been exposed to someone who may have Coronavirus.
