Student Loans

With college costs increasing every year, it’s time to borrow smarter.

CU Student HELP Smart Option Student Loan

The CU Student HELP Smart Option Student Loan offers multiple repayment options and competitive interest rates to help you pay for college expenses not covered by scholarships and federal loans.

Members may borrow for associate, undergraduate, graduate, or technical/trade programs. Monthly payments are required during the in-school period and during the six-month separation period; by doing so borrowers avoid or lower the amount of capitalized interest and reduce their total loan cost.

Federal Student Aid

The Federal government has put together a comprehensive website that gives timely and accurate information to help you navigate the financial aid process. From grants and loans to scholarships and federal aid, you’ll find everything you need to make your college financial plan at Student Aid on the Web.
